I would like to share a very short vision the Lord showed Charis last week Saturday January 14, 2012. I am strongly urged by the Holy Spirit to share this with you, to share with others and to encourage people to share the Gospel. As I have shared on few occasions, the Lord Jesus Christ has brought my wife and I and 7 other people from different congregations together to take the Gospel of Peace to many communities around us, having being commanded to start in our own area first. We had been widely congratulated and welcomed by many Christian brothers and sisters in these areas, but none of them actually joined us in evangelizing in their areas. I praise God that many of them were encouraged.
Furthermore, I intend to be rather brief on this matter. The Lord has revealed to us that He has called every Christian to be a witness (Acts 1:8). Are we witnessing? I can recall in the beginning of our witnessing Ministry, we were opposed by many including my former pastor. By the grace of God Almighty, we bravely fought back armoured with faith, prayer and a spirit of obedience to the Heavenly call. The Lord was on our side and still is to this day. As it is, please allow me to introduce a few of the people who are witnessing with us. The Lord has added an elderly woman who is about 59 years old to the group; she joins us on the field when she returns from her full-time employment. Then there is a 50 year old woman, these women are being heavily persecuted by their unsaved husbands, but they defy all abuse to be with us; I give solemn Praise and High Honor to the Lord for their selfless commitment. There is also a lady who suffers from TB, she is witnessing faithfully with us even while she is coughing profusely, she has faced cold days and very hot days, and she left her baby of one year at home in the care of Charis and Jaydeen. Moreover, we also have a highly pregnant mother of two with us. Since the Lord is speaking to us, He has not said she must stay at home. If God so uses very ordinary humble people to spread His Word to save souls for His Kingdom, then this Scripture is still alive;“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field " (Luke 10:2).
Finally, God is appealing to all His children to Witness and not wait for a call from their church leaders to witness. The general call is,“Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation”(Mark 16:15). Let us pray for workers and join ourselves. Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed due to a lack of God's Word and His fear; wickedness increased as is apparent today. Arise Church of the Living and march on with the Gospel of Peace, for the Lord says that the end, which we are all eagerly awaiting for will not come until "...this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come"(Matthew 24:14).
Vision: Why Do You Put Your SHOES On Wrong Feet?
On Saturday, January 14, 2012, the Lord showed Charis a Vision of all the people in the world standing on a giant platform and looking at a preacher of the Gospel. Among those present were Christians as well as non-believers—everyone in the world, including you. The man she identified as a preacher looked at all the people standing before him and asked them, “People, why do you put your shoes on the wrong feet? You have been living disobediently to God!" As the preacher asked that question, Charis noticed that all people had their shoes swapped around. The people responded in unison: “Oh, we have forgotten to put on our shoes correctly!” In a cursive writing, these words then appeared in the sky: “People are turning away from the Lord".
When we asked the Lord about this vision, He said that many people have turned away from the true Gospel and they are following their own direction. Even those who claim to be born-again are walking in disobedience and this is grieving the Lord. In a message to this ministry and the Church at large, the Lord commanded us to Preach the Gospel and the Power of Salvation through the Cross, avoid godless quarrels, and encourage Holy living. As a member of the body of Christ, brethren, the Lord is calling you to walk in the spirit of Stephen and Phillip, to lead a witnessing lifestyle. Now, what or who is holding you back? Are you ashamed of sharing the Gospel at the expense of souls getting lost?
Let me share a brief testimony as an encouragement to you to share the Gospel. Before the Lord called and established this ministry, I was out in the streets witnessing with gospel tracts that I had ordered from Fellowship Tract League. I have had a very positive experience with this organization, and I have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with the people there. I also have found them to be very useful in helping individual Christians who would like to make a positive impact in people’s lives with the Gospel. If you are ready to start witnessing and are interested in ordering gospel tracts, I strongly encourage you to contact this organization. The Lord forbid that we use our work, sickness, age or family as an excuse not to witness! We had a brother who witnessed with us in the past, and in a strong message, the Lord rebuked him for using excuses not to witness. The Lord said: “My son [John] does not care about Me." Subsequently, the brother obeyed and never skipped witnessing. Let us, therefore, prepare the world for the Lord's soon return by being diligent in witnessing!
