“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5 NIV).
Brother and sister in Christ, we would like to begin this week’s message by sharing a vision the Lord gave us on September 5, 2015 - Short Vision of People Left Behind. We are also sharing a new vision below warning us to earnestly pray and seek the Lord now so that when tough times come we will be well prepared (Isaiah 55:6).
Vision of Distressing Times Ahead
Given to Jaydeen on March 3, 2015
The Lord showed Jaydeen, one of our daughters, that some difficult times are ahead. In this vision, two messengers from the Lord appeared to her in human form and told her that those under the protection of Jesus’s blood will not be harmed (Colossians 1:13-14), but those outside the protection of Christ’s blood will have nowhere to hide after the rapture. The Angel said, "This house, (referring to our house) is protected under the BLOOD OF JESUS!" and the following Scriptures came to mind (Matthew 7:24-27). She saw various structures of tents being set up for the homeless and the displaced, and the angels told her that these scenes will occur during World War 3. She also saw the two angels counting lots of money, but it was still not enough and they said, “Food prices and the prices of everything will be going up astronomically!”
The Lord is reminding us not to lose focus of the times we are living in. There might be some doubters, but we have learned to take the Lord’s warnings seriously (Matthew 13:9). Brethren, we have no idea when this will happen, but when it does happen, we pray to have taken the rapture train to escape all this (Luke 21:36).
The Temporary Value of Human Wisdom
Often, we are astounded by the wisdom of some people when they seem to have discovered something new. Briefly, the experience of all humans in every generation since God put them on this earth has contributed immensely to the knowledge base and the acquisition of material things after man subdued the earth and brought it under human power and control (Genesis 1:28). As it is, most of the human knowledge has been ‘codified’ or written down for easy referencing and for development purposes. This system of preserving human knowledge has led to the systematic integration of almost all human societies around the world which has led to greater unity and purpose (Genesis 11:4). Now brethren, I am not claiming here that the world is united at the present time, there are current threats of war and internal and international political feuds. The unity we speak about here is the increase of human knowledge (Daniel 12:4), the unification of human experience and skills to advance and unify all of the human society.
Human Suffering
What is common knowledge is that over the centuries, some men have tried very hard to reason and prove that God does not exist or He has no influence whatsoever in the world. Their greatest tool is either blaming God for the present effects of sin (Isaiah 24:5) or concluding that there can be no God. However, their reasoning is futile, because they lack faith in God, and without faith, it is impossible to find God or please Him (Jeremiah 29:13; Hebrews 11:6).
As we explained in our article on Blaming God When Bad Things Happen - Part I, there is a curse that is consuming the earth, which affects and contributes to human suffering (Isaiah 24:6). This issues from our disobedience to the Lord and His Word. It has long been preached that God has reconciled the world to Himself through the CROSS of Christ and anyone outside the redemptive work of the cross cannot partake of that peace (2 Corinthians 5:18-19; Colossians 1:20; 2 Thessalonians 1:8), but suffer the consequences of their sins.
Confusion in the Body of Christ
Over the years since the advent of the Church, Satan has worked hard to create divisions of all kinds to stifle, confuse and minimize the effect of the Gospel (1 Thessalonians 2:18). Indeed, the various divisions we see today in the Church have created a form of ‘unity’ among some Christians belonging to the same denominational groupings. It is a sad indictment because a large number denominational Christians readily follow the lead and teachings of their pastors over the counsel of God’s Word.
Additionally, I would like to state critically that in our experience with the Lord Jesus Christ and as we share the gospel on the streets, we know there are many denominational Christians who fear losing their faith in the denomination if they are exposed to true Biblical teachings that challenge some of their denominations’ beliefs. It is also true that some of these Christians suffer from a weak faith and they often have limited knowledge of the Bible. Having come through the denominational system myself, I experienced the same fears, doubts, and confusions in my faith until the Lord assured me in a vision that I shared in the Deliverance through Jesus Christ - Part 1. With this admonishment, I was encouraged not to doubt God’s Word and lose my faith. As it is, this experience led me to undertake a thorough study of the word of God and the various principles of faith within Christendom. I noticed that, in their preaching and teaching, some of the denominational ‘fathers’ offered Christ crucified and resurrected in keeping with basic doctrine in order to secure membership to their denominations. However, some of their teachings, which we do not have time to discuss here, wrecked the faith of many and the devil has successfully used this confusion to weaken the Christian message. This trail of confusion, which is continuing unabated, has been allowed until the weeds are separated from the wheat (Matthew 13:24-30).
Warning against Manipulative Preachers
Brethren, with the love of Christ in my heart and a strong conviction from the Holy Spirit, let me warn you that there are people in the Christian ministry who are trying to present messages from the Bible that are purportedly hidden from the masses. This is simply NOT TRUE! God never meant to conceal the Gospel message from anyone. The only ‘veil’ over the Gospel is self-inflicted through a lack of faith (2 Corinthians 3:12-18; 4:4) and the devil blinding the unbelievers. While neither we nor any church, individual, or denomination has all the answers, we understand the will of God through the Bible as revealed by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:10). If you hear or read of some revelation, teaching or a so-called hidden Bible code, we strongly beseech you, brothers and sisters in Christ, to cross reference it with the Bible (Acts 17:11). We know that the Holy Spirit of God reveals the things of God to us and not the clever maneuvering of the human intellect (John 16:13; 1 Corinthians 2:10).
In our opening Scripture to this week’s message (1 Corinthians 2:4-5), the Bible warns us not to rely on human wisdom but on the power of God. We, therefore, encourage you to read your Bible daily, pray persistently and often, and you will develop rich spiritual and Scriptural discernment (Joshua 1:8; 1 Thessalonians 5:17). You will also be safe against confusion, error, fear, and the enslavement of human wisdom, which is the pride of the wicked.
If you would like to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, please get started by praying this Prayer of Sincere Repentance. For any questions or comments about this article or our ministry, please contact us.
Blessed regards,
Brother Glenn.
