Using This Time To Serve And Harvest Souls
Brethren, as a ministry, we implore you not to disregard this message because there is no vision attached to it. I (Brother Glenn) did however receive a message from the Lord yesterday morning (22/03/2020) in a vision and the Lord said, “You must live each day as if the Lord is coming today”. By this, I understood the Lord to say, lead a repentant life, forgive, do not hate, etc. Please read this entire section (Romans 12:9-21).
The World around us has changed as we know it! The aim of this message is simply to encourage the brethren and strengthen the hearts of those who are living in fear because of the corona virus pandemic.
Last week, (16/03/2020) we shared with you that the Lord is faithful to all His promises and we know God’s promises are for those who serve and obey Him and seek His will daily (Matthew 6:33; Matthew 7:23-25). As we know it, the world is gripped in a spirit of fear as a result of this virus. Countries around the world including ours (South Africa) have declared national emergencies to convey the impact of the virus and its widespread destructive effects. Biblically, this virus spreads fear and it is disruptive and it is pure evil due to its deadly effects (2 Timothy 1:7).
As it is, the result of this virus simply shows that humanity does not have all the answers to the problems we face. We need God’s intervention and that is made possible if Christians around the world pray and offer help and services to those who are affected, those weak in faith and those who do not believe yet. Thus our availability to help should not be based on any form of discrimination but to uphold the Lord’s command in Matthew 25 which reads, “For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me” (Matthew 25:42-43).
Do Christians need to Fear This Pandemic?
While we as Christians can rely on God’s good promises we are not to be ignorant or arrogant. As children of God, we can claim the benefit of God’s promises and protection for times like these (2 Peter 2:9). We need to pray to the Lord for our protection, healing and for the healing of those who are sick (Mark 16:17-18).
Brethren, we hasten to add, we still need to operate in Godly fear and humility while obeying the authorities over us (Romans 13:1-2). We cannot simply go about ignoring the curfews that were imposed to stop the spread of the virus. We need to show support, breaking up into smaller fellowship groups and to continue in the fellowship of the brethren (Hebrews 10:25).
666 Is It Time Yet?
Brethren, we cannot say at this stage if we are entering into the 666 times and neither do we want to speculate. As things stands now, this virus is threatening the world economy and widespread famine could follow and some of these things we warned and shared on this platform. We will write on this subject if and when the Lord allows and reveals. Remember, at this stage, the authorities are not against us, they are merely responding to the fears of the people and to prevent the spread of the virus. Therefore, we need to be sensitive and not add insult but to work and use this opportunity to win souls and glorify the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Having said this, we are equally mindful of the fact that the lengthy effect of this virus and if no cure is found in the immediate future chances are it could lead to the fears that many people has that governments and businesses could impose measures that could pose a threat to our faith.
By this, we are referring to the 666 or mark of the beast system and there are some reports that some people and businesses view cash notes as a vector for the coronavirus and we know that the 666 is an economic system that requires the mark to buy or sell (Revelations 13:17). With this warning from the Word of God this system is classified as evil and Christians are to flatly reject it (Revelations 14:9-10). Anyway, this topic will require another article and we are not discussing it today but when the Lord leads us we will obey.
If you are unable to visit a Church to accept the Lord Jesus Christ due the impact of the Covid-19 virus, you can pray this Prayer of Sincere Repentance, by faith to invite the Lord Jesus Christ into your hear. Once you have done so, read the Bible every day, continue to faithfully seek the Lord, and take refuge in Him. For any questions or comments on this article or our ministry, please contact us.
Blessed Regards
Brother Glenn
