Expect The Unexpected
"I say this because we live in an important time. Yes, it is now time for you to wake up from your sleep. Our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed" (Romans 13:11 ICB).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS IS TO REMIND YOU TO CHECK OUT THE LATEST VISIONS TAB AS WE UPDATE IT AS OFTEN AS WE RECEIVE VISIONS OR PROPHETIC MESSAGES FROM THE LORD!
Brethren, we encourage you this week with a brief article and gently remind you to be steadfast in your faith (1 Peter 5:9; James 1:12) knowing that we are presently living in extremely uncertain times. The political 'climate' is changing rapidly around the World. Let's look to Heaven, where our help comes from (Psalm 121). The world will not give us rest or peace but sorrow and hardships the bible says (John 14:27). BELIEVE ME, THE LORD IS NEAR!
On a different note, kindly allow me to share some revelations below and encourage my fellow South African brethren.
Briefly, I was shown that many Countries around the World are growing skeptical about their friendly relations with the United States of America. I certainly don't want to sound like a political commentator I'm sharing what the Lord showed me America is going to lose its influence and dominance. Why is America in this message? Presently, this country the Lord showed me enjoys the status of Babylon the Great ( Jeremiah 51).
Why am I mentioning this when we are to concentrate on the delivery of the Word of God? Well, we are mentioning it so that those who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ should not panic when the World economy is shaken again and how this is going to affect our local buying power and salaries domestically.
Don't Join Political Commentators Be Anchored In Christ
I'm addressing my fellow South African brethren, being critical of our government's failures and spewing hateful insults towards our government leaders is not going to solve the problems of our land. As Christians, we are not called to revolt, but to pray! Indeed many are the mistakes and bad decisions of our government but as discerning Christians we know who influences such bad decisions and the weapon of our warfare is prayer. As Christians, we should not be influenced or carried away by political commentators our mandate from the Lord is to pray and win souls (Jeremiah 29:7; 1 Corinthians 2:2).
Historically, during the time of the Apostles, there was a highly charged political atmosphere, however, they did not join Barnabas and others instead they were looking forward to a new life (John 18:40; Luke 24:21).
We therefore encourage, let's band together and pray for our country if we need changes and good things to happen. It is not the individual like the president we need to attack but the system from which the leadership operates and that system is embedded in racism, greed, corruption, self-gain, and hatred. As it is, our weapons are not carnal to insult individual members of the government but to pray for them (1 Timothy 2-1-2) while remembering that our struggle is NOT against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12-18).
Blessed Regards
Brother Glenn
